This season we have great upperclass leadership along with an excellent freshmen class that we feel can help us get to the next level.”

Season Outlook:
The Cardinals finished last season on a high note as a team, ending up 3rd behind Wabash and UW-La Crosse at the Midwest Regional. Returning 6 place-winners, they’re poised to compete again in 2017.

Williamson enjoyed a strong finish to his freshman campaign in punching a ticket to the NCAA Championships where he lost two overtime bouts. He looks to win those this season and get himself on the podium. Binion aims to get back on the medal stand as well after placing 6th in 2015.

Josh Tardy and Nick Michael, two of the county’s top middleweights last season, join the coaching staff and should greatly benefit the top half of the lineup.
