Season outlook:
With over 20 freshman joining the roster this year, the Ursinus team will look quite different. There could be as many as six brand new starters by the time the postseason rolls around. Two former NCAA qualifiers lead the way in 2011 as both Connor McCormick and Connor McNamara were Centennial champs in 2010. McCormick was 2nd a year ago while McNamara missed all but the first tournament last year with an injury. Alex Blank returns at 133, and he is a three time Centennial top three finisher. He will likely be the top returner in the conference at his weight. Another top returning finisher is heavyweight Bill Cornely. He was 4th in a weight class featuring a pair of All-Americans, and he comes into the year as the favorite at 285. The incoming group of wrestlers is very impressive with three Pennsylvania placewinners and numerous other qualifiers and placers from other states. This group will formt he base for successful Ursinus teams in the coming years, and their development this season will do a lot to determine where Ursinus finishes in February.

Season outlook:
For the first time in 4 years Manchester will put a team on the mat that is predominately upperclassmen. All of these wrestlers have been in the starting line-up throughout their careers and will benefit in ’11-’12 from that experience. Juniors Chandler Pogue and Kurt Monix will swap spots in the line-up. Pogue moves to 165 this year after competing for two years at 157. Monix was 4th at the Midwest Regional as a freshman, did not compete last year due to injuries, and will return to the line-up in November at 157. Drew Graber (junior) will move up one weight class to 184 this year. Graber was only 9-6 last season but saw limited time on the mat. Despite this, he broke into the rankings as a contender last season after the Wheaton Invitational. Sophomore Cam Brady was a national qualifier last season and returns to the line-up at 149.

Season outlook:
For 2011-2012, NYU is moving from the Metro to the Centennial Conference. The lineup will have a bit of a different look to it as All-American Matt Magill graduated along with 22 match winner Clement Bommier and 18 match winner Steve Contino. Returning from a year off, however, is two time NCAA qualifier Gregg Martino. He qualified twice at 141, but returns to the lineup at 165 this season. How he adjusts to a year off and a three weight class jump will determine the trajectory of his season. Another big returner for the Bobcats is Jamie Myers at 197. He missed all of last year with an injury but comes into the year ranked 10th by the NWCA. This team should be competitive in the Centennial Conference and has a few wrestlers with legitimate chances to make it to La Crosse this March.

Season outlook:
With a 9-2 record, a national qualifier in Jake Narveson, and three wins over University of Wisconsin teams for the first time, 2010-2011 was a successful season for MSOE. With six starters back, the team should be able to continue its success despite the loss of five seniors. Narveson is the highlight here, having amassed 38 wins and 22 falls during his junior year and making it to the NCAA Championships as a wildcard out of the Great Lakes. Replacing the departed serniors will be a group of freshmen highlighted by a pair of state placewinners in Justin Wolfenden and Peter Kootstra. Luke Gaeth is a state qualifier who could also find his way into the lineup at 125.

Season outlook:
There is some experience in the Thiel lineup, as at least three seniors will start for the Tomcats. The obvious headliner is 3x NCAA All-American Corey Brown at 133. In three seasons, he has made the podium each year, though he has yet to finish higher than 6th. He starts the year ranked 6th and could definitely outperform that ranking. Senior Matt Lowry is just outside the d3wrestle.com top ten at 165 and could find his way to the NCAA tournament come March. Behind these two will be a solid group of starters and reserves, and a few weight classes will see serious competition to determine the starter.

Season outlook:
The Johnson & Wales Wildcats will have their hands full this year as they have lost National Finalist 184 lbs. Senior Brennan Ward and 197 lbs. All-American Bill Mulligan (Year ending injury), but have a solid bunch of upperclassmen that will be looking to make it to the NCAA National Championships in March. Leading the way will be 2010 National Qualifier Colin Lenhardt 174 lbs., who sustained a major injury at the National Duals last year and never fully recovered. Healthy now, he is looking for a return trip. TJ Webster will be moving down from 149 to 141 this year and should make a significant impact at this weight. Senior captain John Donaleski will also be looking to improve on his 3rd place Conference finish from last year. The Wildcats have built up their squad at 149, 157 and 165 lbs. with the addition of 5 high school stars and 2 transfers. Down at the lower weights; Gauthier, Yim and Ferinde could all vie for their starting weight class positions by seasons end. Coach Lonnie Morris will be looking to grab his 200th Win milestone. JWU will be looking to win their 8th straight Pilgrim League title. They are on a 40 match unbeaten streak with their last loss coming in 2004.
