Season outlook:
With eight returning starters, three returning All-Americans, and two other former NCAA qualifiers back, 2012-2013 should be good for the Red Dragons. Jared Myhrberg tops the list after finishing 3rd last year and winning the Most Falls award at the NCAA Championships. Brian Bistis and Joe Giaramita each finished 8th and hope to take a few steps higher this March. Troy Sterling is a 2x qualifier who will drop to 149 this year, while Corey James was a 2011 qualifier before ceding the spot to Giaramita last season. If he can make strides while Giarmita plays football, he could start at 285. The top incoming wrestler is clearly Tyler Beckwith, a Binghamton transfer. If he handles the transition well, he could be a factor in the national picture at 184.
