Season Outlook:
The Bridgewater State Bears looks to rebuild going into the 2012-2013 season. This young squad will be anchored by Juniors T.J Vallee (197lbs) and Ricky Caruso (285lbs) as well as sophomore Ryan Cassidy who look to build off of last season’s success and take it to the next level. The Bears also welcome in a strong class of newcomers including transfers Pat Claflin (Pembroke, MA) and Josh White(Cooperstown, NY) along with freshman Matt Small(Foxboro,MA), Casey Enderlin(Pasco,WA) and Jason Pendergast (Methuen, MA). “I am truly honored to be given the opportunity to lead the Bridgewater State University wrestling program,” first year coach Tim Ferreira said. “I have a tremendous amount of pride in this university and I accept the challenge of leading this team to the new challenges ahead of us. I have a great group of assistants and I know we are all very excited for the upcoming season.”
