See below for the latest d3wrestle.com rankings. Understand that these rankings take into account all results and cover the entire season. A wrestler may appear below an opponent he has defeated this season, but the higher wrestler’s body of work on the year warrants a higher position. For example, Ben Youel of North Central defeated Justin Hanson of Wartburg this past weekend, but Hanson remains above Youel because he has beaten both of last year’s finalists at that weight over the past month. devyn wynn whitman from oneonta at 149
At 197, #2 is Voeck, not Voek.
thanks
yah, that kid Whitman is legit. He tech falled that dude Stillo(national Contender) from centenary in like the second period. He’ll probably all-american this year.
….Since we’re on the topic of Oneonta, other wrestlers to watch out for: Davy,Wake,Stafford,Ballard
Stafford and Ballard both at 184; wonder who comes out on top there, both could definitely end up at nationals.
Witman’s been up and down…hasn’t been wrestling lately; wonder how he’ll end up. I’ll be very, very surprised if he All American’s let alone make’s it to nationals with Wosczack and LeBlanc in the same conference.
Wake definitely has the potential as he proved last year, but he has been very spotty this year; a lot of bad losses so far. He could definitely turn it on by the end though.
Gotta agree w/Bryan. Witman a good wrestler but can’t beat the contenders. His wins are against wrestlers with acombined 35-30 record.
I think Wake had a tweaked shoulder or something. As for Witman, Brunk does produce a very valid point but let’s be honest…we’ve all seen crazier scenarios. He beats just one of the two aforementioned for a 2nd place finish in the Empy’s and he’s in…..
I wonder if Ritter will spread Ballard and Stafford out when the time comes. They are weak at 197!
God I love this website…wrestling 24/7 baby! Props to Andy Vogel!
