Here are the initial d3wrestle.com rankings for the 2023-2024 NCAA Division III wrestling season. A few notes before diving in:
- The Honorable Mention and Contender sections are in alphabetical order and should each be considered as as group.
- Once competition begins, wrestlers will be ranked at the weights where they actually compete.
- There are no freshmen or non-DIII transfers in this first list.
- We invite any information about wrong weight classes, misspelled names, missed individuals that should be considered, and anyone who is not wrestling or is not competing until later in the year.
Jared Stricker? National Runner-up?
There was an error in the preview form that we received from Wisconsin- Eau Claire. It did not include Stricker or Fleetwood under returning wrestlers so they were excluded from the ranking- after posting the ranking it became apparent that there was an error and this will be corrected in the ranking next week!
