Season outlook:
With the graduation of NCAA Runner-up Anthony Dattolo and NCAA Qualifier Ryan Wilson, the Colonels lone experienced NCAA participant is Michael Fleck after setting the Wilkes’ single season win record last year with 37 victories. The Colonels do have Mendoza, White, Stough, Oberrender, Fletcher who return as Conference place winners last year. Along with those six, three others have started in Conference in prior years in Krawchuk (who took last year of for academics), Dungee and Matt Transue. There is plenty of depth and some of last year’s reserves will look to crack into the Colonel line-up. A very nice group of freshman and two transfers will also see plenty of mat time and possibly find starting roles. Expect a few new names in the line-up, but certainly the Colonels will once again be putting a very solid team on the mat.
