The third rankings were released yesterday. Notable moves include Joe Pflug (Heidelberg) from 149 to 157 and Alec Bonander (Luther) into the top spot at 197, replacing TJ Miller (Wartburg).

165 seems like an oversight of results. Trent Zempel (Messiah) was #9, lost to Bogardus and Bradshaw, but beat Jonhenry and Tyler (Springfield) and fell out of the rankings while Jonhenry moved into the rankings.

I wouldn’t put to much emphasis on the rankings. Unfortunatly, I feel the same way, not a lot of time was put into this, unless its more political then anything. At the national tournament its barely even looked at.
I agree on 165 being out of wack. Burkle from Coe is undefeated I believe and has a win over the 3rd ranked D2 wrestler from Truman State.
