Season Outlook:
Springfield finished second in the NEWA tournament last season and returns seven NEWA placers, including NEWA Champion Joe Grippi (133).   This, coupled with an outstanding recruiting class should make this the most successful season in several years.  The depth, currently 55 on the roster, and talent level on this team is excellent.  Springfield has a strong chance to regain the NEWA title that has eluded us for several years.   Although returners Grippi (133), Archambeau (157) and Burns (184) certified at these weights, they will probably start up a weight class and decide later on their final weight class.
