Season Long Awards Update

0

Heading into the NCAA Championships, here are the leaders in falls, and tech falls, and most dominant. These stats only reflect matches against Division III competition. Leading the way in falls is Caleb Burkhart of Wilkes with 22. Three wrestlers, Carson Licastri, Tyler Withers, and Josh Harkless have 21 and will join Burkhart at the championships next weekend. Avery Leonard of Oneonta leads in tech falls with 23. His season is over, but Joziah Fry of Johnson & Wales is just two behind. He will need to get three tech falls to overtake Leonard, as a tie will go to the wrestler with the least combined time. Josh Harkless leads the most dominant standings with 5.63 team points per match with defending NCAA champions Michael Petrella and Fry having a chance to catch him by the end of the tournament.
