Season outlook:
Last season, Oneonta placed 12th in the NCAA for their highest ever finish.  They also had multiple All-Americans for the first time in program history.  Neither of those All-Americans return in 2010-2011, however, so it will fall to the incumbents to try to match that level of success this season.  There is certainly some good talent on this deep roster including several Empire and NY State Collegiate placewinners.  Heavyweight James Lamonica is the top returner, and he appears in the NWCA preseason rankings at #7.  The incoming class has good strength up and down the lineup with numerous state placers and qualifiers deciding to stay in New York and wrestle for Coach Ritter at Oneonta.  It is an experience team with a lot of upperclassmen that will be looking to hold off the new guys who definitely have some talent.
