This week, two teams have the opportunity to reach significant program milestones.  Simpson College stands one win away from 400 dual meet victories in their history.  Simpson had wrestling from 1924-1928 before disbanding until 1959.  The team has been at 399 wins for a while now, as they hope to snap a six match losing streak against Loras College on Thursday night in Dubuque.  Regardless of the outcome of that match, the team should reach 400 wins, as their last competition before the IIAC Championships is a home match against winless Central College.

The second team with a milestone in site passed 400 wins ages ago.  Springfield College is now going for win number 900 in their quest to join Oklahoma State, Oregon State, and Iowa State as the only programs to achieve that milestone.  After dropping their last match to TCNJ, Springfield goes for 900 again on Saturday at conference foe Trinity.  Should Trinity prevail, Springfield will have to wait until next season to get number 900.
