Season outlook:
We are looking forward to a good year. We are excited about the great group of guys we have on this team, including the immediate impact the Van Anrooy’s will have on it. We were right in the hunt mid-season last year, beating the teams that eventually placed 3rd & 4th at the NCAA Championships in late December & early January. But then we had a rash of injuries to some of our top wrestlers and we were not able to bounce back from it. We are anxious to get back into a position of challenging for a trophy at the NCAA Championships. To do so, we will need guys to continue to progress to the next level and establish themselves against the best guys in the country.
