Season outlook:
It is all about the future at Coast Guard. After a rough season and a poor record, the team has brought in an impressive recruiting class with the potential to drastically alter the team’s recent fortune. Even with a poor record, the Bears return a pair of NEWA placewinners in Josh Getty at 141 and Luke Taylor at 165 along with 22 match winner Joe Kidwell. All three will be on the team beyond this season as a recruiting class laden with state placewinners comes of age. Adjusting to college wrestling can be tough, but this group of incoming wrestlers has a chance to put Coast Guard on the map again in the future.
Wow. Good to see Coast Guard bringing in some great talent again. Looking forward to the Ithaca Tournament to see them in action.
What an unreal class!
Most were not born when this man started coaching! Great recruiting class coach!
Good luck to this great bunch of young men! We’re going to surprise some folks this year:)
Good luck this season, effort is what a man is judged by, give it all you have and do what you do with pride and honor!!
