Season outlook:
Luther looks to be a young but improved team over last year. All-American Kevin Bokoski has graduated, but outstanding freshman Daniel Mendoza is back for his sophomore season and he will get things started for the Norse. In addition, the team has brought in a number of junior college transfers who figure to make an impact on the lineup right away. Also challenging for starting spots is a group of freshmen that includes five state champions and several other placewinners. After a losing record in 2011, the Norse should be right back on track in 2011-2012.
