Wrestler of the Week: Jordan Schulte

The d3wrestle.com/WWSport.com Wrestler of the Week is Jordan Schulte of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Schulte won all four of his matches at 165 to lead the Pointers to a pair of wins at the Border Brawl at Whitewater. He defeated Yousef Al-Ghoul of Elmhurst 10-2 in the first match of the day. He also won by fall against Trine and an 8-1 decision against Manchester. The highlight win of the day was 5-3 against James Myers of Olivet, a 2012 All-American and the #4 ranked wrestler at 165 at the time of the match.

Schulte, a senior from Mosinee, Wisconsin, is now 20-6 on the year with two of his three DIII losses to defending NCAA Champions Williams and Kulchytskyy. He finished 2nd at the Muskie Invitational, 4th at the Pointer Open, and 2nd at the Concordia Open. He is a 2x NCAA qualifier with a career record of 73-41. Stevens Point is off this weekend and returns to action February 8th with a conference dual at Wisconsin-La Crosse.
