Season outlook:
Stevens will have a very new look from a year ago after the graduation of several contributing seniors. A deep recruiting class will help fill the openings left by the departed seniors and will help build up depth behind the returners. The team’s top wrestler is 2x All-American Ryan Bridge, and the Ducks are hoping to get a full season out of him and a third trip to the podium where he will challenge for an NCAA title. 2x Centennial champ Ryan Dormann is back looking for a third trip to the championships, while Joey Favia returns after a year training with the Hawkeye Wrestling Club in Iowa looking for his first conference title. Both Favia and Dormann will be strong contenders to place in La Crosse. This Ducks team has a chance to end USMMA’s stranglehold on the Centennial championship, and it will be depending on the performance of some new wrestlers to get the job done.
