With eight returning starters, NYU is poised to improve on last year’s 10-7 record an move up from last year’s 7th place Metro finish.  Junior Greg Martino qualified for the NCAA tournament last year after winning the Metro Conference championship at 141.  He returns to defend his title, and Metro placers Kyle Christensen, John Dack, and Matt Magill are also back to try to move higher on the podium.  Sean Connors and Steven Massey will each move down a weight in hopes of finding more success at their natural weights.  The Bobcats have a good mix of youth and veteran leadership that should pave the way for another winning season.
