Season outlook:
Two returning NCAA qualifiers (one of whom is a 2x AA) will lead a Mount Union team that only lost three starters to graduation.  Mark Hawald has been building up the Purple Raiders since he took the helm three years ago, and they are poised to have their best season in recent memory.  They should be able to field a lineup with six past OAC placewinners in their quest to beat Heidelberg and Ohio Northern for the top spot in the conference.  No less than nine Ohio state qualifying freshmen will bolster the experienced lineup and push the returning starters for mat time.  The top wrestler is 197 lb. Bill Schindel who has moved from 8th place in 2009 to 7th in 2010.  He will be looking to move even higher up the podium, and hopes to be joined there by some teammates.
