Season outlook:
With nine of the team’s 10 starters returning from a 13-8 season in 2013-14, the Lycoming College wrestling team is aiming to return to the national rankings for the first time since 2009-10.

The mid-weights will once again lead the Warriors, thanks to a talented trio at 141, 149 and 157. Senior Caleb Willey has risen into the honorable mention portion of the d3wrestle.com rankings throughout his career and he is coming off a career-best 29-13 season in 2013-14. Sophomore Seth Lansberry gives the team a great presence at 149, as he won a Lycoming freshman record 35 matches. Sophomore Nolan Barger will fill in at 157, as he won an Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference title as a rookie and won 29 matches overall.

The team will also benefit from a pair of grapplers, who saw their junior seasons cut short due to injury in seniors Cody Barbiche and Sam Batchelor. Batchelor, a heavyweight, was on the verge of a breakthrough year, posting a 10-5 record before the injury.
