Loras Preview
Coming off its first losing season in 15 years, Loras looks to rebound in 2008-2009. With six returning starters, including national qualifier Erik Hanson, Loras is well situated for a rebound year. However, navigating the tough IIAC schedule will make topping .500 a challenge for any team. Hanson made the quarterfinals last year where he fell to Milks of Platteville. In the All-America round, he defaulted to Josh Terrell, as wrestler he had defeated in the IIAC semifinals two weeks earlier. Seniors Jordan Loy and Trevor Kaufman will provide leadership for the Duhawks in head coach Randy Stewards 16th year at the helm.
