For these rankings, we have started to take people out who either haven’t wrestled or have only wrestled once at the beginning, and we have also put people in the weight class where they have been competing, though the second semester may see some of those wrestlers drop to where they were expected to be at the beginning of the year.

While he is still new to college wrestling, keep an eye on Waynesburg 149-pounder Luke Lohr. Good looking freshman, but still needs some wins against bigger opponents to get a lot of attention.

Luke Lohr will be a tough wrestler, but he has to beat some quality wrestlers to be ranked.
I’ve seen Luke wrestle a few times, seems like he needs a lot of work on bottom, and he doesn’t seem to capitalize on his opponents mistakes enough. I’m with 3xtime, until he beets some quality opponents he’ll get no street cred from me. I’ll keep an eye on him, but I’m not sold on him just yet.
Etown & Centenary both will contend for metro crown this year, both are up & coming programs. It’s good to see programs other than the perenial powers contending.
Should be a fun 2nd half & conf. tournament!

Sorry to disagree jubie,but delval won’t dominate the conference this year. They will be a contender,but I don’t think they will win. I think they’ll win 57 & maybe 97 3rd @ 25,41,&49 I think tcnj will win 65,74 2nd 84 & 33, 3rd@ 57 & 97. Cent wins 33& possibly 41 & 49. Just my opinion, but thats the way it looks from here

Would think the DVC team will look a bit different 2’nd semester. I suspect a healthy Ajagbe and Cody Gardner at 285 improve their chances. I see that Daddino is not listed on roster at 184, but thought I heard he would be back 2’nd semester?
Albright (York/transfer from PITT) easily wins conference and contends for national title at 141. He’s 14-1 (9 majors and 5 pins) including 13-0 over returning all american Ulrich from del val.
It was not my intention to disrespect any wrestlers,Yes I think albright has a very good chance to win @141 I was only observing tha etown & centenary had much improved teams this year. Speaking of York Martcello looks much improved this year & can not be counted out. Saliba also has a good chance! mh1 states Daddino should return 2nd half all of a sudden 184 is stacked, 4 top 10 ranked already in that weight class denver,reilly,martocello,transue+ meaney looks pretty good also
dont count out etown with bentley at 25 and kane at 57. he has beaten harrington before and was beating him before harrington injury defaulted. eno will give bones a run at 65 also. gentile is going to contend at 74 with meaney looking good at 84. katzman is strong at hvywt too.
albright is a beast, obviously this level of wrestling is elementary in comparison to his former seasons
In regards to metro I agree Centenary and E town. Centenary dominated del val at the Cyclone open and have wrestlers ranked top 10 at 3 classes.
