Brockport selects Caleb Garvey

Former Thiel assistant Caleb Garvey has been selected as the next head coach at SUNY-Brockport. Garvey spent the past three seasons at Thiel where he also was a three-year starter for the Tomcats. He takes over the Brockport program from interim coach Bill Jacoutot. Prior to 2021-22, Don Murray had coached the Eagles for 51 seasons.


Garvey Named Brockport Head Wrestling Coach

BROCKPORT, NY — SUNY Brockport Athletic Director Erick Hart announced the hiring of Caleb Garvey as the new head wrestling coach on Thursday. Garvey will be responsible for all aspects of Brockport’s nationally recognized wrestling program.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Caleb to the Brockport family. We’re excited to have a young man with his kind of experience in both wrestling and in the military,” said Hart. “He stood out as the perfect fit for our program throughout the hiring process and we fully expect him to hit the ground running and help continue to improve upon the past success of our nationally recognized wrestling program.”
