Season Outlook:
Johns Hopkins returns two Centennial Conference champions in Brent Lorin (133) and Joe Paul (174) to build around in head coach Keith Norris’s 18th season. The Blue Jays are deep in the middle of the lineup (149-184) and will use a mix of returnees and newcomers to fill those spots. A talented group of newcomers has been impressive in the preseason and is likely to make an early impact. Johns Hopkins has regularly out-wrestled its regular season record at the Centennial Conference and NCAA Regional Championships as Norris challenges the team with a difficult regular season schedule to prepare for February and March. With a number of young wrestlers likely to dot the lineup, the formula should be the same this season.
