Season Outlook:
A new coach takes the reigns at Concordia, as Corey VanGroll comes to the school after a successful stint at Iowa Lakes Community College. He takes over for Bret Corner who will remain as an assistant on staff. Concordia had one wrestler at the NCAA Championships, and Sean Ambrocio returns at 125 seeking a spot on the podium after winning three matches at the tournament last year. Greg Sanders is the other top returner who won 37 matches last year before suffering a concussion at the Great Lakes Regional. He may be better known at this point for his backflip reversal at the Gulf Coast Duals, but he will be a contender this season. Concordia opens the year at North Central on November 6th.
