Wrestlers named to CoSIDA Academic All-District Teams

The Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-District At-Large teams have been announced. The At-Large teams include athletes from Women’s Bowling, Women’s Crew, Men’s and Women’s Fencing, Women’s Field Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Golf, Men’s and Women’s Gymnastics, Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey, Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse, Men’s and Women’s Rifle, Men’s and Women’s Skiing, Men’s and Women’s Swimming, Men’s and Women’s Tennis, Men’s Volleyball, Men’s and Women’s Water Polo, and Men’s Wrestling.

Athletes must be a starter or key reserve, have achieved sophomore status, and must have a GPA of at least 3.30. The first, second, and third team Academic All-Americans will be selected from this list. Here are the Division III wrestlers who have been selected this year.

Cody Lovejoy, Ohio Northern, 3.99, Pharmacy – 2014 NCAA 7th
Matt McCrary, Wheaton, 4.0, Business/Economics – 2014 Midwest Region 6th
Caleb Malychewski, Pacific, 3.67, Exercise Science – 2014 NCAA 5th
