Wesleyan returns 3 New England finalists and 2 NCAA qualifiers.  Bloom, Hurd, and Berkovic form a strong nucleus for 2009-2010.  The team also returns a 3rd place qualifier at HWT. and 2 other New England placers.  With 8 starters back, another winning season should be on tap for the Cardinals.  184 and 197 will need to be filled with either last year’s reserves or this year’s freshmen.  A good freshman class should provide some depth and push some of the incumbents for mat time.  Greg Tannenbaum and Kyle Roosa are both 2x NY qualifiers that may have to wait their turn behind the senior returning NCAA qualifiers Bloom and Hurd.  With most of their duals against other NEWA teams, Wesleyan should be ready for the NEWA Championships just up the road at Western New England.
