Season Outlook:
Eight starters return from last years winning team. Wesleyan has added a quality freshman group into needed weight classes which will help bolster the line-up. Following his football season, Devon Carrillo will be a national force at 197 in his 2nd season on the mat and looks to be on the national podium in March. Isaiah Bellamy made a late season change to HWT last year and has put on 30+ lbs. of quality mass which will bode well for him now as a legitimate heavyweight. A young, but talented, lightweight group is looking to make their mark after having quality mat-time experience last season. The Cardinals are looking to have another winning dual season along with a stronger, successful finish at both the Northeast Regional and NCAA Championships.
