Hill Announced as Head Men’s Wrestling Coach
Arlington, Va. — Marymount University Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics and Recreation Jill McCabe has announced the hiring of Roy Hill as the first-ever Head Men’s Wrestling Coach at Marymount.
Hill brings over 30 years of experience to the table as the Saints’ wrestling program gets off the ground this fall.
“Building and expounding on relationships is essential,” said Hill. “Northern Virginia deserves to have a top notch Division III option for the large number of quality wrestlers who want to get a quality education while being in the business hub of the nation.”
A graduate of Virginia Military Institute, Hill has served as the Head Wrestling Coach at Hayfield High School since 1992. Hill turned Hayfield into a regional power and has produced multiple Virginia State Champions. He was responsible for all aspects of the program, from recruiting athletes, practice planning, and collegiate prep work.
