Season outlook:
The Hawks return seven starters from last year’s team and are led by captains Josh Devriendt, Dan Roger, Francisco Colom and 2014 All-American David Welch. RWU is coming off the best season in program history as the team was New England Champions, Pilgrim League Champions and boasted a 19-1 dual meet record. This team will be tough to beat as currently constructed, and with the addition to some highly touted freshmen, should be very deep. In addition, RWU has added some top notch coaches to their staff in Corey Brown (4x All American for Theil at 133), Tim Ferreira (former head coach of Bridgewater State University), and Brian Nicoll (3x Regional Placer at 285). The Hawks were ranked as high as 13th in the country last year and look to crack the top 10 in the 2014-15 season.
