Quiros to lead MacMurray

Alberto Quiros has been named head wrestling coach at MacMurray College. Quiros moves to MacMurray after spending the past five seasons as an assistant at his alma mater Augustana College. He helped coach three All-Americans and was a 2012 NCAA qualifier at 149 lbs. The 2012 CCIW Outstanding Wrestler and Great Lakes Regional runner-up compiled a 91-54 overall record. Quiros replaces Pete Di Pol who spent one season with the Highlanders.

MacMurray returned to competition in the 2016-2017 nine years after dropping the sport in 2007. 14 wrestlers competed for the Highlanders last year with six wrestling in the Central Regional.
