Pre-regionals season-long awards update
The NCAA has released the last regular season update on the awards for dominance, falls, and tech falls. Joe Pins of Wartburg leads in the dominance standings with 5.21 team points per match just ahead of Michael Petrella of Baldwin Wallace and teammate Massoma Endene. Mason Sprinkel of Norwich has 22 falls, one up on a trio of chasers. All three have amassed their falls in significantly less time, so he will need to keep pinning if he wants to keep the lead. Gavin Hollingsworth is four clear of his competition with 19 tech falls. Five wrestlers are tied with 15.
Only matches against Division III competition count in the standings, and a minimum of 17 matches is required to appear in the Most Dominant standings.
