New head coach Matt Burlingame has the luxury of starting each dual meet with a flourish, as he has two returning Americans manning 125 and 133 in Eracleo Vallejo and John Sheets, who returns from injury. Vallejo has a motor that never stops, while Sheets was 3rd in 2006 and was among the NCAA leaders in falls. 184 lb. Matt Zickafoose was 3rd in the 2006 Midwest Region, and he also comes back from injury in 2007-2008. Unfortunately, 174 lb. Midwest runner-up Ben Hoover has transferred out to Maranatha Bible Baptist. However, with 9 returning starters, Manchester is poised for another successful season as they attempt to knock Delaware Valley and Olivet from the top of the Midwest Region.
