Knox returns one of its most experienced teams in years. All-American Jaran Rutledge returns after a 3rd place finish at 285 last year as a legitimate title contender. He was the first All-American from Knox, and their first national qualifier since 1980. The rest of the team has several years of experience under their belts and has the potential to improve the placement of Knox and tournaments and the Great Lakes Region. With one dual meet win in the past two seasons, there is room for improvement, and this year’s team seems best constructed to do so.
