Eau Claire wraps the regular season with win over Platteville
UW-Eau Claire topped UW-Platteville in the regular season finale for both teams last night. The host Blugolds won seven of the ten varsity bouts, and the teams contested 11 extra matches as well. At 165, #9 Chase Schmidt of Eau Claire was in a tight bout with #4 Nathan Wynsma before Wynsma was forced to default with an injury. Both teams are set to attend the newly announced WIAC Championships at at Stevens Point on February 28.
