Some shakeup at the top as four weight classes see a change at #1. Most notably, defending champion Romeo Djoumessi made his return to the lineup for Wartburg at 184 after recovering from injury. Also back in action is Augsburg’s Willy Holst at 149 after sitting out the first semester.
Andy, thanks for all your work with this site. Your rankings are great, any thoughts about doing a team ranking also?
This is the greatest web site for D3 wrestling out there.. Keep up the great work!!!
Agreed. All information in one place is great! Thanks so much!!
Rob Yahrmarkt of Olivet has shared time with Tucker this season and has beat Dahl, Pritchard, and Fechko. Please give him consideration for HM.
Awesome website for DIII! You are doing a great job for the wrestling community.
jnl24fan,
You can’t have 2 guys from one team ranked in the same weight. If it becomes clear that Yahrmarkt is the starter, I’m sure that he will be in the rankings. Tucker of course would then be out of the rankings.
is 157 a weak weight class, or is wernimont that good? he just beat the #3 kid by seven points… opinions?
I would consider Wernimont the best wrestler in DIII right now.
Wernimont is the man right now in D3, also 184 from Wartburg is pretty unbeatable..
i thought mantella was the best d3 wrestler in the country? he says so himself
Wernimont has not faced Brew, yet! Brew has not lost to a D3 wrestler with his only losses to D1 wrestlers at Midlands.
I know that Wernimont has beaten Brew the last two years, but Brew is wrestling great right now! You can’t count him out!
