Season outlook:
Concordia put together a great season a year ago with three All-Americans, a program high 12 wins, and their best ever finish at the NCAA tournament. They also defeated Augsburg in a dual meet for the first time ever. With four NCAA qualifers and seven total starters back from that team, the Cobbers are looking forward to another good season. It will be difficult to replace the points from NcAA champion Phil Moenkedick and 5th place finisher Justin Berns, but if qualifiers Presler, Hohbein, and Schmitz can make it on the podium, it will be a start. Tom Bouressa was 4th in a very good 285 weigh last season and opens the season ranked #1. Clay Nagel has done a fantastic job brining the Cobbers to national prominence, and they are showin no signs of giving that up anytime soon.
