Coaching change at UW-Platteville

WMTV NBC 15 in Madison, Wisconsin, has reported that three members of the coaching staff at UW-Platteville are no longer employed by the university including head coach Trevor Kittleson, assistant coach Matthew Randone, and graduate fellow Edward Smith. In an earlier article, WMTV published a statement from the school stating, “We are investigating multiple potential UW-Platteville and NCAA rules violations, and we cannot comment on personnel matters while these investigations are ongoing.”

Neither UW-Platteville nor the NCAA provided any further comment to WMTV for the latest article. Former Pioneer head coach Chris Walter, who coached the team from 1997-2014 has been named acting head coach for the remainder of the season.
