Heidelberg assistant coach Brandon Brissette has been named as the new head coach at Olivet College, taking the position vacated by outgoing coach Todd Hibbs.  Brissette has been at Heidelberg in various capacities for the past four seasons after finishing his wrestling career at Wartburg.  See the Olivet release below.

  4. Actually, there are only two former Wartburg wrestlers that are head coaches in DIII. Bratland at North Central and now Brissette at Olivet. If that’s not correct, please let me know. There are a number of former Knights assisting, however. UW-La Crosse (Corner, Mitchell, Bruhn) and Wilkes (Laudenslager, McGinley, Ritter) are the leaders in DIII with three each.
