The d3wrestle.com/WWSport.com Wrestler of the Week is Willy Holst of Augsburg College.  Wrestling in the 149 lb. weight class, Holst was undefeated at the NWCA National Duals while helping Augsburg to a first place finish.  He used a fall, tech fall, and major decision to help Augsburg reach the finals against Wartburg.  Against top seeded Wartburg, second ranked Holst defeated defending NCAA champion and #1 ranked Jacob Naig 6-3 to help seal the 21-20 victory for Augsburg.  Holst now sits at 8-0 on the year.

A senior from Prescott, Wisconsin, Holst is in his second year of competition for the Auggies.  He transferred into Augsburg from the University of Minnesota where he began his college career in 2002.  He was also the 2004 FILA Jr. Freestyle National runner-up to future NCAA champ Brent Metcalf.  Last season, he was 32-3, finishing 3rd in at the NCAA championships at 149 lbs.  He joined the Auggies late this year, officially competing for the first time at the Sunshine Open in December, but he has quickly moved to the top of the d3wrestle.com and NWCA rankings after his win over Naig.  Augsburg returns to action this Friday against North Dakota State.  Holst and Naig may have a rematch when Wartburg visits Augsburg on January 30th.
