The World Team Trials gets underway tomorrow in Lincoln, Nebraska (Saturday’s projected high: 100 degrees). A number of wrestlers with Division III ties have qualified, and some of those will wrestling tomorrow. See below for who to expect in the tournament working to qualify for a chance to compete in next month’s world championships in Oslo.

77kg – Ryan Epps, Augsburg, 2nd at 2021 U.S. Open – Epps is the #6 preseed at 77kg. There are 10 entries at 77kg.
82kg – Richard Carlson, UW-La Crosse – Carlson is the 4th seed of 6 at 82kg.
87kg – Dan Olsen, Wheaton, 5th at 2021 U.S. Open – Olsen is one of four entries at 87kg.
130kg – Donny Longendyke, Augsburg, Olympic Trials Qualifier – Longendyke is preseeded 3rd in a weight with 10 entries.
130kg – Kaleb Reeves, Coe, 5th at 2021 U.S. Open – Reeves is also entered at 130kg with Longendyke.
