Season Outlook:
Coach Nagel’s Cobbers are looking forward to another successful season. This team has set some lofty goals and with the wealth of talent returning and the addition of 14 freshmen and 2 transfers, are looking to improve on last season’s performance that included a 3rd place finish at the NWCA National Duals, a 2nd place finish in the Western Regional and 9 national qualifiers.
9 national qualifiers and only 1 AA??? Seems like another example of how the regions are lop-sided and in need of some evening out. 18-19 teams in one region while only 11 in other regions…same number of qualifiers?? I hate to be the guy to say it isn’t fair but…..
