Season outlook:
Gettysburg returns an experienced lineup and hopes to avoid the significant injuries that felled some important contributors last season. Seniors Matt Spano and Jared Leon return to lead the team, and both have had good success in the past Spano has 80 career wins and has been a 2x placewinner in the Centennial Conference. Leon lost in a tiebreaker to go to the NCAA Tournament in 2012 before suffering through an injury plagued season in 2013. Healthy and back at his natural weight class of 174, he is poised for one last great season. A quartet of sophomores saw significant time in the lineup as freshmen and should bring that experience to bear this season. Eddie Carroll, Manny Markantone, and Tyler Cunningham look to fill the center of the lineup from 149-165, while Luke Iorio steps in again at 184. Eight returning starters from last season and a small but talented freshman class should help the Bullets have a balanced lineup and get some dual meet wins.
