Season outlook:
Eric Van Kley proved he could build a program at Great Falls before bringing that talent to Central where his teams have compiled .500 or better records in each of the past two years. Every starter from last year’s team is back on the roster in 2011-2012, so there is no reason to think they will not put together another winning season in the IIAC. Kalen Greiner was an NCAA qualifier as a freshman last year, the first qualifier for Central since 2004. He is back with three more years to go. Joseph Atwell and Tommy Van Renterghem both topped 20 wins last year and will challenge for top spots in the conference. Five returning Central wrestlers placed sixth to go along with Greiner’s 4th place finish. Central increased their point total at the IIAC meet from 49 to 83.5, and now they will be looking to climb the standings.
