Season outlook:
Dubuque comes into 2011-2012 after a great year that saw them crown an NCAA champion in Josh Terrell and another All-American in Sam Johnson. Johnson returns along with 2x qualifier Ryan Warcynski to form the backbone of a team that returns a lot of conference placewinners. The team has had at least one All-American for four straight years and will be going for five in 2012. Along with the two wrestlers with NCAA experience, senior Andre Taylor, sophomore Derek Minch, and junior Logan Einerson all had good records last year and will be looking to break through in the IIAC and punch their tickets for La Crosse. Coach McGovern has done an admirable job in his ten years at the helm, building the team up into a nationally competitive program that always has wrestlers in the hunt for a title.
