Terry Schuler graduated in May of 1989 from UW-Whitewater as a four-year letter winner, a three-time conference champion (1985-1988), and a four-time All-American. During Schuler’s career at UW-Whitewater, he had an overall record of 109-19. He was 15-11 as a freshman, 25-3 as a sophomore, 35-2 as a junior and 34-3 as a senior for an .852 winning percentage. He holds the record for most team points in a season with 186.50 points (set in 1986-87) and had 49 pins in his career, leading the team in his junior and senior seasons. Schuler also served as a team captain and earned Most Improved and Most Valuable Wrestler awards during his career at UW-Whitewater. He is currently the only UW-Whitewater athlete in the history of the school to be named All-American four years in a row. Schuler is currently a resident of Newton, Wisconsin, where he is self employed at Schuler Sign Products.
