Season Outlook:
Ursinus College returns nine starters from last year’s Centennial Conference team champs, including four Centennial Conference individual champions and three runners-up. In addition to a solid recruiting class Ursinus adds two outstanding coaches to their staff; National Hall of Fame member, Jeff Bowyer and 2x NCAA Champion Seth Ecker (Ithaca) can only help the Bears get better. Chris Donaldson, 2013 semifinalist and 6th place finisher at 125 expects to step higher on the podium in Cedar Rapids while his teammates work to improve on last year’s performance at the 2013 East Region. Team depth is not a problem and the line-up should provide balance with over forty wrestles in the room. Several starters from 2013 will be challenged daily by a talented recruiting class which should make everyone better by March.
