Season outlook:
With nine starters returning from last year, Stevens hopes to furhtern ascend the NCAA rankings and bring back multiple All-American awards for the first time since the program was reinstated. 5th place finisher Joey Favia is the clear leader of this team after he put together a great postseason to avenge a pair of losses in the Centennial Championships before finishing 5th in the nation for his first All-American award. Michael Polizzi and CJ Caserta are each back and up a weight class after finishing 2nd in the conference at 141 and 149 respectively in 2012. A strong group of freshmen will help fill in some of the holes in the lineup. Numerous state qualifiers join the team, and a few will find their way into the lineup. Mark Garrity, a 2x VA placewinner has a chance to fill in at 184 while some of the lower weights will be challenged by a number of tough newcomers.
