Season outlook:
St. Olaf will be led by a pair of NCAA qualifiers in Jacob Bohler and James Roach. They will have to make up for the loss of 2x All-American Ryan Timmerman at 141, but also return three regional placewinners from last year’s team. Bohler and Roach combined for one win at the tournament last year and are hoping to make it onto the podium this season with another year of experience. Of the other returners, Andrew Rudd had the best season last year, putting up 17 wins and placing fourth at the Great Lakes Regional. The freshman class will likely yield some starters, as several of the wrestlers have state level experience and an opening where they should be able to contribute.
