Season outlook:
Heading the roster is 2012 All-American Charlie Frankel, who was granted an extra year of eligibility by the NCAA for an injury earlier in his career. Frankel had his best season in 2011-12 as the 125-pounder finished with a 26-11 record, captured the Metropolitan Conference title and placed eighth at the NCAAs. Two former national qualifiers are back in Emmanuel Ajagbe (157) and Aaron Karns (197). Ajagbe, a senior who reached the national stage as a rookie in 2010, went 19-7 and placed sixth at the Metros last season. Karns, a national qualifier in 2011, has returned to the school after a short hiatus. He went 27-9 in his lone year with the Aggies.

Leading the cast of newcomers are freshman Connor Kirkegard (125), James Dugan (165), Dallas Winston (174) and Matthew Jorgensen (285). Kirkegard was a two-time Connecticut state champion in high school while Winston captured a New Jersey state title last year. Dugan finished third in the 2012 New Jersey state championships and Jorgensen placed seventh in the 2012 Pennsylvania state championships.
